Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Kinward account and its associated data at any time. Here's how.

Delete only some data — without closing your account

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data. From inside the app you can:

• Remove a loved one — permanently erases everything Kinward holds for that person: their screened calls and texts, health records, financial activity, and contacts. Your account stays.
• Delete individual items — medication photos, blocklist entries, and screening alerts.

What gets deleted with your account

Deleting your account permanently removes from Kinward:

• Your profile — name, email, and avatar reference
• Your role and all of your family memberships
• Your links to the loved ones you care for
• Invitations you created

What may be kept

• Shared family data stays with the family. If you share a family with other members, that family's data (calls, texts, health, finances of a loved one) remains for them. To erase a loved one's data entirely, delete that loved one — or the whole family — first.
• Sole owners must hand off first. If you're the only owner of a family, transfer ownership or delete that family before deleting your account.
• Your sign-in identity is separate. Deleting your Kinward account does not delete your Google or email login itself — manage that with your identity provider.
• Legally required records. Limited billing or transaction records we're required by law to retain are kept only for the period the law requires, then deleted.
